Ch 4:1-4:15

Ch 4:1 And Jesus full of the spirit Holy returned from the Jordan and was led by the spirit in the desert days forty being tempted by the devil. and he ate not anything in days those and being ended them he hungered. 3 And said to him the devil. If Son thou art of God, tell stone this that it become a loaf. 4 And made answer to him Jesus: It has been written, Not on bread only shall live man, 5. And leading up him he showed him all the kingdoms of the inhabited earth in a moment of time. 6. And said to him the devil: To thee I will give authority this all and the glory of them, because to me it has been delivered to whomever I wish I give it: thou therefore if worship before me, will be of thee all.

4:8. And answering Jesus said to him: It has been written: Thou shalt worship the Lord the God of thee and him only shall thou serve. 9 And he led him to Jerusalem and set on the gable of the temple, and said to him: If Son thou art of God, throw thyself hence down: 10 for it has been written. The angels of him he will command concerning thee to preserve thee. 11 and on their hands they will bear thee, lest thou dash against a stone the foot of thee. 12 And answering said to him Jesus. It has been said: Thou shalt not overtempt the Lord the God of thee. 13 And having finished every temptation the devil went away from him until a season. 14 And returned Jesus in the power of the Spirit to Galilee and a rumour went forth throughout all the neighbourhood concerning him. 15 and he taught in the synagogues of them; being glorified by all.

Ch 4:16-30

16 And he came to Nazareth, where he was having been brought up and entered according to the custom to him on the day of the Sabbath into the synagogue, and stood up to read. 17 And was handed to him a roll of the prophet Esaias, and having opened the roll he fund the place where it was having been written. 18 The spirit of the Lord is upon me, wherefore he anointed me to evangelise the poor, he has sent me to proclaim to captives release and to bind (ones) sight, to send away having been cursed ones to release. 19 to proclaim a year of the Lord acceptable. 20 and having closed the roll returning it to the attendant he sat; and of all the eyes in the synagogue were gazing at him. 21 And he began to say to them Today has been fulfilled Scripture this in the ears of you. 22 And all bore witness to him and marvelled at the words of grace proceeding out of the mouth of him; and they said: not son is of Joseph the man?

23 And he said to them: to be sure ye will say to me parable this: Physician heal thyself: what things we heard happening in Capernaum, do also here in the native place of there. 24 And he said: Truly I tell you that no prophet acceptable is in the native place of him. 25 in truth but I tell you, many widows were in the days of Eliza in Israel when was shut up the heaven over years three and months six, when came famine a great over all the land, 26 and to not one of them was sent Elias except to Sarept of Sidon to a woman a widow 27 And many lepers were in Israel during Eliseus the prophet, and not one of them was cleansed except Naaman the Syrian. 28 And were filled all with anger in the synagogue hearing these things. 29 and rising up they cast out him outside the city, and led him to a brow of the hill on which the city was built of them, so as to throw down him. 30 but he passing through the midst of them sent.
